I've always liked Ken Rosenthal. Mostly for the lame reason that he appears from time to time on the Detroit Sports Report. But I am glad I have finally gotten an oppurtunity to read his writing. Top notch sports journalism there.
As for the A-Rod h8 . . . I have not seen a player engender this much rancor since . . . Possibly Claude Lemieux, during the whole Detroit/Colorado hockey rivalry (at least when it was good), or maybe the Juan Gone/Tigers fiasco in 2000.
Haha, as usual, I (along with pretty much everyone who considers themselves Tigers fans) are deliriously optimistic. Possibly to the point of lining up on the Ambassador Bridge with rocks tied to our ankles if we fail to make the playoffs this year. It'll be really painful if they end up sucking, but this kind of optimistic feeling hasn't been seen around this team since, oh, I am thinking, September 5th of 2000, so it's a welcome change from the usual gloom and doom.
